My new book Antidote is coming up! But before it is printed, I really need your help!
I am crowdfunding for my new book Antidote: a milestone in my career as visual artist as it features my work and development of the past 5 years. The book is a tribute to the pliability and adaptability of our largest organ—the skin—playing a significant role in defining our identity.
The cover will have a silicone skin itself, added by hand by yours truly. Design is in the hands of -SYB– and the book features two essays about the context of my work, written by Annamaria Pinaka and Willemijn van der Zwaan.

Ode to the skin
Despite the occasional aggressive undertone in my work, it may surprise you to know that I hold profound respect for my body and, by extension, for every individual’s body. Having battled severe self-harm, compulsion, and depression for years, I have witnessed firsthand the remarkable resilience of my body in its healing process. My body now bears a landscape of scars, akin to petrified lava shaping new terrain after a volcanic eruption. Consequently, my work serves as a tribute to the pliability and adaptability of our largest organ—the skin—playing a significant role in defining our identity.
